I love making movies…
My passion for film started with I was 9 years old. From the moment I dusted off and watched an old VHS of “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”, I was hooked.
As a director / writer / producer based in Cape Town South Africa, I spent much of my early career as a documentary filmmaker in conflict zones around the world. This period was key in shaping my passion for using film to effect change for good in the world around me. I’ve strived to use those experiences to tell engaging, character driven, action based stories.
I’ve always been of the mind that we should approach life as an adventure. In that spirit, my journey has opened the door for me to work in 12 different countries in feature films, commercials, music videos, lifestyle TV, game shows and documentaries. I’ve pretty much done it all and met some incredible people along the way, but at the heart of what drives me, is narrative. I’m all about telling stories that matter and working with people that push me to be better at telling those stories.
I’m a dual US/South African citizen and co-owner of the Cape Town based production company, TH Films.
